Check out my finished laundry space complete with a shelf for vases and artwork on the wall. I'm wondering why we didn't do this years ago. It's organised and done.

The Apartment Project update
This past week we took on the task of installing two Moooi Flock of Light pendants above the kitchen island. The pendants are firefly-inspired with bronze wires and brass cups with LED diffusers resembling glowing beetles. They are playful, creating a cosy ambience day and night. So the challenge was making these unique and organic shapes, (each one-of-a-kind) hang perfectly centered, positioned, and balanced. The big question: which side looked best? And do we flip one for that symmetrical vibe? 😍
The stunning Avocatus Quartzite slabs had their final inspection before heading under the blade. A kitchen that's been a year in the making is now another step closer to completion.
Next week the appliances, bench tops and splash backs are installed. The space is really coming together beautifully with the artwork and fireplace adding balance in this open plan space. Soon, we'll finish with sheer curtains, a large area rug for warmth, and two swivel chairs to match the sofas. Coffee and side tables with lamps will complete the cosy ambience.

Everything's coming together!
The painting's done, the carpet's cleaned, and our clients are getting excited about their new space. The custom media unit and sideboard are about to be delivered. Next week, we'll meet to finalise the new sofa purchase.
